Our Story

We are Teri, James and Nate!

We started The Magic Portal Club in 2021 when our son was three years old. We had become increasingly frustrated with the clothing options available for kids his age which were heavily gendered, low quality and repetitive in design.

Luckily we have an incredible illustrator in the family, James, who decided that he would take matters into his own hands and design some incredible options for Nate. This idea grew into The Magic Portal Club, and the rest is history!

Brilliant design and lovely quality

Really lovely quality tshirt with such a great non-gendered design. Fun and different! My son loves that the picture is on the back and now wears all his T-shirts backwards in homage to MPC. Fabric feels robust but really soft on the skin. Love love love it

Do you do adult sizes?

We get asked this a lot, and it wasn't something that we had the means to provide before. However... subscribe to our emails below to be the first to get notified of some exciting upcoming news.....

How do I take care of my products?

We recommend you turn your products inside out and wash at 30º to keep your portals in perfect condition.

Do you accept returns?

Absolutely! If for any reason you're unhappy with your products please return in the condition you received them within 28 days for a no questions asked refund.

Alternatively, email us at hello@themagicportal.club to arrange an exchange if preferred.

Will my son wear pink?

Would you put your daughter in blue clothing? Of course! We understand that change can be a little daunting, but let's not limit our children by the outdated gender binary and let them embrace their individuality and creativity! We have received zero complaints by parents who have bought pink clothing for their boys, so rest assured they'll love the bright and engaging designs and will wear their new T-shirt with pride.
